Ha!
Am incapable of keeping a blog updated.
However, my new housemate and I are enacting Iron Chef 4425 Milgate, in an attempt to rid the fridge of three years and six people's worth of crap. So, I've set up (yet another) blog to chronicle the activities.
Check it out: IronChefBloomfield.blogspot.com

Ann Coulter Endorses Clinton?
I'm not sure if I can stomach voting for someone that Ann Coulter is okay with. It just feels.... dirty.
So, if it's McCain v Clinton, does this mean I have to vote for McCain? Is there some sort of evil reverse-reverse going on here with Coulter?
My head hurts just thinking about this.

Hot Yoga for All!
Something new to get me out of bed in the morning (besides a wonderful cup of coffee delivered to me - in bed - by a very sweet man): Amazing Yoga
I'm totally going to start doing yoga again. Regularly. Several times a week.
This will be good for several reasons:
1) I need some exercise
2) My anxiety is acting up again, and some centered breathing sounds like a good plan
3) Adding some structure to my days will only help
So, tomorrow morning, I'm going to my first class. This is one of those places that does "Hot Yoga" in a 90degree room. It's not quite as crazy as Bikram Yoga, which is done above 100degrees, but it still sounds... very hot. But considering it is currently 8degrees outside, I'm thinking 90 seems like heaven.
Speaking of the weather, this is insane. First it's 60 and sunny in January and now it's dropped to 8 degrees. I have the water dripping in the sinks downstairs trying to avoid a pipe freeze like last winter. I'm interested to see what February has in store for us.

News of the Day
In academic-type news, I met with Brandom today and finally nailed down my directed reading topic. Surprisingly, I'll be working on knowledge and justification this semester with him. It should be interesting.
Otherwise, things are pretty low-key. I just got a few books I ordered from Amazon, including Jonathan Safran Foer's Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close which I talked my book club into reading for this month and The Audacity of Hope, the second Barack Obama book. I hope to read that one soon. This primary election... well, is a very tough choice for me. Obama? Clinton? Edwards? maybe Richardson? (though it looks like Richardson has thrown in the towel.)
I'll let you know if the Obama book is any good.

Hillary Supposedly Cried. Really?
Can someone please explain this Hillary crying video to me?
Let me be more specific. Can someone explain exactly when Hillary is crying in this video and why it's a big deal?
Awesome.
My thoughts on Hillary are the following, in no particular order:
- Yay! Women for President!
- Yawn
- Bill 2008?
- Yawn
- Money money money money politics money
Needless to say, I suspect when the Pennsylvania primary rolls around, I'll be voting for Obama. Or maybe Edwards, if he's still in the race. I wish I wanted to vote for the woman. Speaking of that, and all the ridiculousness about Hillary "playing the sexist card", I have some recommended reading: Gloria Steinum's opinion piece in the NYTimes here.
Seriously, if I hear one more person say that Hillary is too "emotional" to be president, I'm going to have a stereotype-enforcing attack of rage. Which would be a sign of power if I had a penis. Alas.

Hiya.
So, I have the Philosophy blog over here. But I wanted something else to post randomly in.
Hence, Quick! Act Natural! was born.
Keep your dials tuned, kids.
